to back up web pages that I never want to not have.

A website could change its content or close down or worse crash without notice.

You need to have those pages you need the most preserved so you can access them whenever and for reference.

This extension has proven invaluable when I study and am collecting notes from my lecturer who all have notes on the school websites but the notes are changed on rotation.

I was wondering if this function could not be brought to blogger.

A function that allows a blogger to save ALL their posts at the click of a button.

I know everyone dreads the thought of loosing 2 or 4 years worth of blogging after a crash or some such accident.

The posts could be downloaded as HTML documents and their accompanying Style Sheets and saved in one folder on the pc as backups.

I realise there is going to be a problem with images and flash embeds but they can be saved as links during the download.<br Holmes videos found here

This is one of the quintessential additions to the traditional Sherlock Holmes collection.

It begins with a young and very pretty cyclist who seeks the help of Dectective Holmes because she is being followed on her bicycle during her work commute in the country. Holmes is initially involved in other experiments and studies, and is at first is not interested in hearing her case. But he soon gains interest as she presents herself as a poised and learned potential client, and Watson is intrigued by her beauty and her persistence.

It turns out that there is a plot against this woman that is unknown to her, and the antagonist is soon revealed as the one most interested in saving her life.

This episode is quite "delightful" in that in entails the elements that compromise a classic Holmes tale. It incorporates blunt and direct references to Holmes's cocaine addiction, along with his desire to solve every case, as this one along with many he regards as irresistible due to its complicated nature. There is also an opportunity for him to teach Watson, and a comic element is incorporated when Holmes's friend and college proves himself as yet again, inferior to Holmes's sleuthing abilities

sponsored by amsvixen

Sherlock Holmes-Serialised

Online Videos by Veoh.com

This is a continuously updated series of Sherlock Holmes' Adventures.

Sherlock Holmes_Copper Beeches

Online Videos by Veoh.com

Sherlock Holmes in an unusual adventure when he is asked to give advice on a lady's job offer. Great or small. some have changed nations and some, well we never got to hear of them.

Has it never struck you as odd that the only people willing to do a suicide mission are Arabs and Asians. Arabs we know that that from their fighting methods in an uneven war and their more extreme facets that we all know of. The Asians, Japanese for example were willing to fly planes into the ships and blow up with them. Man that's another whole level of sacrifice.

But black people and white people, hmmm, no sir. I never heard of that kinda behavior. is it because these two groups are that selfish?

To some extent I do think so. I mean if you are willing to sue your father or your kid for money i don't think you are about to turn around and blow yourself up to save the guy who lives three blocks away. whom you have never saw. This mode of behavior is rampant in white and black communities.

Don't get me wrong, black people and white people have sacrificed. But you see when these fellas go to fight they have every intention of COMING BACK ALIVE. All those 19 year old boys in Falujah, they all think they are giong survive like their favorite character in GI-Joe. Unfortunately fo them this is not a cartoon script. I don't think they would knowingly enter into a "death only" situation.

White people trying to run the world, black people trying to run the underworld and everyone else is just in between. Crazy stuff.

Which brings me to the point of colonization. White people moved on the black people fast. Black people hadn't even got their act together, they was probably going like "We the only motherfuckers on this planet-we rule this joint."
The weaponry at that time sufficient. To them, probably there was no need to get sophisticated with weapons. So everyone was chilling.

Another point, the first white people to show up in Africa we the Portuguese, especially in Southern Africa. There were passive, no threat there. False sense of security

Then them other white cats just pounced on then black folk. Wraw! Just like that. Before you knew it Prince Seka was picking cotton on some farm in south America.

That was a fast one.

Eventually, religion got the better of them white cats, pretty sure sure not all of them. So they sent the black folk off back home.

But you see there was a problem there, the new dogs in town didn't mix well with the old dogs, and lets just say they didn't agree on who should be leading the pack.

Time zoomed by and they was in the 20th century and them dogs were still going at each other, fight was now now about "who is your daddy." So on any occasion there are at least half a dozen dog fights, any less than that, it's been a good year.

The white cats on realizing that the dogs could actually build some good stuff if they stopped them fights take it upon themselves to fan these burning fires as much as they can whilst keeping an ever so straight face. With the other hand stealing the candy form under the dog's nose

Who could blame them, it's their nature for these cats to be cunning. As long as the dogs be running around playing "who's your daddy" and not realise they got the best candy. Everything is okay for the cats.

Is it right, is it moral and this brings me to the idea of religion.

I personally do not have anything against religion. In fact I think that without religion humans would be just a pack of intelligent wolves tearing away from each other.

Religion introduces an aspect of morality into society. It moderates behavior by preventing the degradation of accepted behavior.

I think you should either be a religious person or not. No fence sitting. I hate this diluted version of religion.

"I am a Christian and I am gay." It's either you are one or the other, you can't be both as these two behavior modes are antagonistic.

I don't know much about Islam but i wanna know what the Koran says about the "going ons" in a club because clearly more than just dancing "goes down" in there ......to be continued

read similar and more interesting articles here

Sherlock Holmes -"The Blue Carbuncle"

One of the most popular of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories, The Blue Carbuncle is given exciting treatment in this Granada Television adaptation, featuring Jeremy Brett and David Burke in definitive performances as the famous detective and his ally and chronicler, Dr. Watson.

The story concerns the disappearance of a gem called the Blue Carbuncle, which has been hidden inside the crop of a Christmas goose and which is linked to a terrible history of murders, suicides, attacks, and robberies. Stolen from the Countess of Morcar (Rosalind Knight), the jewel's trail leads Holmes all over wintry London and to a decision that stuns Watson in its legal and ethical implications.

Tightly woven and cleverly adapted from the page, The Blue Carbuncle is a worthy adaptation of a classic tale. --Tom Keogh

Samurai X Reflections

During the Bakumatsu (the final days of the Tokugawa government) in Japan, there was a merciless swordsman known as Hitokiri Battousai (Himura Kenshin), who fought alongside revolutionaries against the government. After the revolution, he suddenly disappeared and throughout the years became a legend. About ten years later, he is a wandering swordsman, who dedicates his life to helping and protecting people as a way to pay for all the lives he took during the revolution. This is the story of Kenshin, wandering swordsman, master of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu style of sword fighting. His many adventures begin with his arrival at Tokyo and meeting Kamiya Kaoru, sword instructor and owner of a dojo...

________________________________________

Kenshin Himura is still unable to attain inner peace even after devoting the remainder of his life to protecting those he loves and vowing to never kill again. Having given up his reverse-bladed sword and started a family with Kaoru Kamiya, Kenshin’s mind continues to drift to the sins he committed as an assassin during the Meiji Revolution.
In order to repent for his crimes, he leaves behind his wife and son, Kenji, to become a wanderer once more and try to make amends for his bloody past. However, the place he is needed most is at home, where a grief-stricken Kaoru is forced to wait for his return, able to do nothing but reflect.

STORY: Reflection sets out to provide an ending for the Kenshin legacy, and although some may be displeased with it, Nobuhiro Watsuki, the creator of Kenshin, has approved it. Most of the story is told through Kaoru’s flashbacks, and in doing so presents another look at the events that transpired during the Rurouni Kenshin TV series as well as those that only took place in the original manga. I found this to be a very effective form of storytelling that managed to weave an epic tale capable of summarizing the entire Kenshin legacy as well as provide a fitting ending. However, viewers who haven’t seen at least the first 60 episodes or so of the Kenshin TV series as well as the other two OVAs (Trust and Betrayal) will be totally confused and have next to little or no idea of what’s going on.

ACTING: I personally found the American V.A.s to be a bit bland in comparison to their Japanese counterparts. Also, having already grown accustomed to the American cast used in the dub for the Kenshin TV series, I found it difficult to accept a completely new set of voice actors for an already established cast. At least with the Japanese dub, there’s some continuity. They’re not half bad either, providing some excellent acting for each of their respective roles.

FAN SERVICE: Hmmm… There is a scene of Kenshin and Kaoru doing the horizontal limbo, but do you really want to see that? Besides, its there for plot development, not fan service, so it shouldn’t even count. For me, I thought it was awesome getting to see Kenshin’s fights with Jin’e and Enishi done with the OVA style animation, and I think most Kenshin fans will really appreciate those as well.

CONCLUSION:

Samurai X: Reflection is a surprisingly controversial anime. On one side of the field are the super devout hardcore Rurouni Kenshin fans who hate Reflection for trying to summarize the entire story of Kenshin into a single OVA, while on the other are the fans who have fallen in love with the OVA’s style of animation and don’t mind a different look at Kenshin’s life. There is no middle ground, because people who dive into Reflections without any prior knowledge of Rurouni Kenshin will be completely lost.

The best way to be able to enjoy Reflection is to go into it knowing what to expect. I remember when I first saw a preview for Reflection on another ADV release, and because of all the action and awesome swordplay I saw in the trailer I started to expect Reflection to be somewhere along the lines of Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal in terms of sheer violence and the number of fight scenes. Not surprisingly, after purchasing and watching Reflection, I discovered that the preview I saw had gone ahead and showcased every fight present in the entire OVA. Seeing how all of Reflection’s fights can fit into the time span of a three-minute preview that means that there’s a whole lot of not-fighting going on through the anime. But really, that’s not such a bad thing. In fact, it’s just as well, because with less of an emphasis on fighting, Reflection is free to develop itself as a romance, something its much more suited for considering the story its trying to tell. Reflection focuses on Kaoru, who is now Kenshin’s wife, and the grief she suffers while waiting for Kenshin to return from his latest journey. She soon falls ill, and while she’s recovering she begins to reminisce about the past. It’s here within her mind that most of the events in the OVA take place.

Because Reflection is an OVA, the animation is expectedly top notch. Even though fights are few and far between, they’re a joy to behold simply because of the amazing artwork. Some fans may be displeased to see the cast of the Kenshin TV series drawn in the same style used for Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal, but in the case of Reflection, it’s actually an improvement as it helps to better set the mood and feel of the story. Taku Iwasaki, who also did the score for Trust & Betrayal, does the music. As such, in addition to several new songs, many pieces used in Reflection come directly from Trust & Betrayal. However, this is not a bad thing as Taku Iwasaki is a magnificent composer and his music is wonderfully beautiful, helping to set the pace and add to the epic feel of Reflection.

Reflection, although somewhat depressing, provides an excellent ending for the Kenshin saga. I myself, an avid fan of Kenshin to begin with, loved this OVA and enjoyed it from beginning to end, and if you’re already a fan of Kenshin, then this is definitely something that you should watch. You may not totally agree with it or approve of the way it handles the established Kenshin canon, but it still is considered the definitive ending to Rurouni Kenshin. And in any case, the quality of the animation and music should more than make up for any shortcomings that you may find. But, if you don’t know a single thing about Rurouni Kenshin, and I cannot stress this enough, you should stay far away from Reflection until you’ve read the manga or seen the anime. Otherwise, you would more than likely only be confused and unable to fully enjoy Samurai X: Reflection.
©All information protected by DVD Vision Japan copyright unless otherwise noted.

Samurai X ova (2, 3, 4, 5)

Comic Russian Sherlock Holmes

A hallmark of Russian humour. Like the varieties of monkeys but NO intermediate can be found between monkeys and humans i.e a half smart creature.

The number of random processes required to produce even one amino acid have the probability MUCH close to zero.

Repeated experiments to form life supporting amino acids even under the most ideal condition have been failures let alone produce a single protein by random processes. The PROBABILITY of the COMBINATION of RANDOM processes PRODUCING a life amino acid is staggeringly negligible, effectively impossible.

The experiments were extremely biased and did not reflect the natural environment eg they did not include oxygen which would have oxidised all the products.

All of biology repeatedly demonstrates that any life activity require a TEMPLATE e.g DNA, RNA etc Withe the presence of a template ONLY then can life amino acids be produced from the elements!

The dating methods used to measure the age of fossils has a lot of anomalies that make their results VERY questionable)

Creationism

The world has an INTELLIGENT DESIGNER.

The Earth is ~6000 years old, supported by:

Bible references

Ancient civilizations e.g. the Maya’s calendar

Creationism can explain things Evolutionism Cannot:

Advanced artifacts found in ancient ruins, e.g. batteries

How Pyramids were built, evolution theory has failed to account for advanced civilisations and advanced science more than 4 000 years ago. According to evolution humans were still cave men or iron men back then. How were the pyramids built the,

Some of the boulders are over 100 tonnes. Not even a thousand slaves could pulley it up a slope over 30 degrees in inclination, even pulleys would have broke as they used rope and wood. Today we can hardly move such a big stone let alone readily reproduce the pyramids to their accurate alignment with star systems

The geometry is perfect, To the 1/15 as accurate today's measures

The way the stone were cut does not tally with conventional tools and the cuts were of great precision, so much so that the joint fits were air tight. Today you'd need special laser technology to achieve such cuts.

Obeys the Laws of Thermodynamics

Age of earth explained By Time Relativity Theory

Creationism has all strong points but its weakest link is the time-line. According to the main creationist theory, ie the bible based theory, The Earth will be little over 6-8 thousand years old.

This conflicts with dinosaur fossils, the only point of argument in the countering of this is the subjective nature of the dating processes used on the fossils.

Biblical time frames may be not literal as in 7 earth days, the "day" might have a different meaning like age etc. This can be supported by parable context of the bible and the Theory of Ralativity. (which has been demonstrated)

Debate

Einstein's Theory of Relativity explains how the world could be formed in 7 days.

It is now known that time can be altered by distortions by mass displacement. i.e. gravitational field displacement.

Evidenced by:

Time differences at different altitudes and gravitation density.

Different time rates on different planets

The larger the mass the larger the time displacement.

Outside the displacement light necessary for life takes millions of light years to reach earth but relative to the earth it only took a day!

Gravity/Mass-Time Displacement

Proved by Einstein and confirmed by NASA scientist (read more here)

Now…The End?

The bible as a whole is a fascination,

archaeologists refer to it when finding digging sites

It correlates well with other written text.( Kings and Kingdoms)

Dead Sea scrolls found match present day bible text

However the book of Daniel is a fascination, even for atheists and historians

The book depicts an astonishingly accurate course of history from King Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon to the end of the world

Text in Daniel 2.

Daniel’s Interpretation

Gold Head-King Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon…the greatest kingdom ever

Silver a strong less great kingdom. Rome was the most ruthless empire

Its 10 horns, the 10 European empires. 3 have since fallen i.e. the Heruli, Ostrogoths and Vandals

From their ashes rose a small horn….(The Vatican?)

More detail here

Commentary

The text goes on to say these 10 kingdoms will never reunite to became the great empire again.

Many attempts have been made:

Napoleon failed 1815

Inter-state marriages failed over hundreds of years

Hitler failed 1939-1944

Current efforts are also being made with the forging of the European Union (EU)
Note that our present day “kingdoms” are built of cement and steel (clay and iron?)
Apparently this is the last age!
The text goes on to predict how the last kingdoms are going to be crashed (overthrown?) by a “stone not cut by human hands” and the heralding of a new civilization.
Or the ‘little horn’ and ‘beast’ are destroyed with the same result.

Christianity Hijacked?

Pagan Babylonian chief priest held the title Pontifex Maximus

Originally, the king of the Attalid Empire held the title Pontiff

He passed it on to the Babylonian Priests before who moved to Rome.

Title given to Julius Caesar in 63 B.C, thereby making him the supreme priest of the Babylonian Religion and its gods.

Implying the Babylonian religion literally moved into Rome and took it over, becoming head of the Roman government.

This title passed from emperor to emperor, all of whom served as chief priests

376 A.D, the Roman Emperor Gratian becomes the first since Julius Caesar to refuse the title Pontifex Maximus.

Pope Callistus I decreed himself the Pontifex Maximus (bishop of bishops)

The Catholic Church claims him as one of the early popes.

He headed the Christian Church in Rome, and took the title as head of the Babylonian Religion!

I Dare Say

Some might dispute that Catholic leaders incorporated paganism into the Church
But Catholic historians admit to it.

Cardinal Newman, in his Development of Christian Doctrine, pages 272, 273, says that the Church incorporated many pagan religious practices into the church. He claims that the church “sanctified” them and that made it safe to bring these practices into the church.

Read DEUTERONOMY 12:28-32

While some of these practices may have been relatively innocuous,

Catholic Pilgrims kiss the feet of the Roman god Saturn, thinking it’s the image of Peter

God condemns idolatry, even bowing before images is part of idolism. Exodus 20:5.

The Roman Catholic Church does this in direct violation of the command by God

In ancient Israel, they too brought pagan practices into their "church" (synagogue), but inspite of the evident belief among them that this made these practices safe to bring into the synagogue, God condemned this practice.

More examples of pagan worship in Roman Catholic Church here
( go down ¼ of the page and look under Ecclesiastical characteristics)
These are Historians’ comments about the influx of paganism into the Catholic Church.

Short History

Christians were a minority after Jesus’ ascension

Then, under the Roman Empire suddenly there was a mass conversion of pagans to Christians!

It was not so as it seemed, the pagans had just gone underground and fused their practices into the church.

The introduced their gods Nimrod, Semiramis and the god-incarnate son as the Roman Trinitarian Christianity

All the pomp and ceremony that existed in ancient Babylon was now entered into the church

Most Biblical scholars and preachers readily admit that they know Christ was not born on December 25th. However, they claim that this day is as good as any other to celebrate the birth of Jesus, despite the fact that it was originally a pagan celebration called Saturnalia which commemorated the birth of the sun god.

Hijacked

Pagan worshippers tried to exterminate Christians

Though few the Christians stood as they had resonating faith.

They resorted to diluting them out instead of sponging them out.

Suddenly there was mass conversion, shortly paganism surfaced in the church

Jesus’ Birthday was changed, the Sabbath day was changed to match their sun god, rituals and chanting began in the Catholic Church.

Then some Christians wanted reform but were outnumbered

Some divorced themselves into smaller groups but were violently persecuted.

Some persevered to present day, other groups rejoined the pagan worship.

It is estimated most Catholic devotees do not actually know this, ignorant of the fact

A sizeable proportion just choose to be stubborn about it.

Not Catholic Only

This hijacking is not in the catholic Church only

It is just MOST VISIBLE in the Catholic Church

Other church groups that broke off are affected

Some Protestant churches have fallen pray.

Not easy to name as they are to fragmented and do not have a recognizable body which is their weakness

God said we should gather in our numbers to worship Him

Compare…
An Ancient depiction of Isis and Horus
(3rd century)
<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; it can strike, as Innocent III says, wherever sin is; it can punish every one; it allows no appeal and is itself Sovereign Caprice; for the Pope carries, according to the expression of Boniface VIII, all rights in the Shrine of his breast. As he has now become infallible, he can by the use of the little word, “orbi,” (which means that he turns himself round to the whole Church) make every rule, every doctrine, every demand, into a certain and incontestable article of Faith. No right can stand against him, no personal or corporate liberty; or as the [Roman Catholic] Canonists put it—“The tribunal of God and of the pope is one and the same.” -Ignaz von Dollinger, “A Letter Addressed to the Archbishop of Munich” 1871; as quoted in MacDougall, The Acton Newman Relations (Fordham University Press) pp. 119,120

Infallible?

"The Pope takes the place of Jesus Christ on earth...by divine right the Pope has supreme and full power in faith, in morals over each and every pastor and his flock. He is the true vicar, the head of the entire church, the father and teacher of all Christians. He is the infallible ruler, the founder of dogmas, the author of and the judge of councils; the universal ruler of truth, the arbiter of the world, the supreme judge of heaven and earth, the judge of all, being judged by no one, God himself on earth." Quoted in the New York Catechism.

How he boasts…

"The Pope is of great authority and power that he can modify, explain, or interpret even divine laws... The Pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God, and he acts as vicegerent of God upon earth." -Lucius Ferraris, Prompta Ribliotheca, "Papa," art. 2, translated.

"Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change (Saturday Sabbath to Sunday) was her act... And the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things." H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons. Nov. 11, 1895

What He Claimath…

"Experience teaches that there is no other remedy for the evil, but to put heretics (Protestants) to death; for the (Romish) church proceeded gradually and tried every remedy: at first she merely excommunicated them; afterwards she added a fine; then she banished them; and finally she was constrained to put them to death." -Cardinal Bellarmine famous champion of Romanism cited by Schumucker p. 76

"They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. The Catholic Church had the support of the Columbian government in the destruction of many churches, and the liquidation of more than 1,000 documented cases -- some of whom were shot, drowned, or emasculated. He says there is evidence of over 60,000 killed. Pope Pius XII awarded the President of Columbia with one of the highest awards which the Church bestows, and praised Columbia for its example of the Catholic faith." (Pp. 59,60)

<centere></centere>

Shall yee be put under the yoke still
Shall yee turn thine face to the blowing wind

Read The Bible and Idolize Not

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Rev. 18:1-4

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://diddy47.blogspot.com/2007/05/end-of-times.html' title='End of Times? Her name was Grace. Let me just say if anyone in my year did not know about it, it's a good thing they were never considering becoming detectives and if any one of them become policemen, good luck to them: they really need it.

Grace was that kinda girl, she had a non cosmetic beauty. you know the stuff that just comes wiff the genes not from 4 hours in front of a mirror. I liked that. I liked that because my defination of beauty is if u can shave a girl's hair off and not have her end up looking like something out of Star Trek.

No, she was not a popular girl, not the most popular at least, she was not the prom queen type, head cheerleader type. The type that go out of their way to draw attention from the opposite sex. She did not get a lot of it. I'm sure ALL the boys agreed she was a cupful and more but it was because you'd have to go on more than a couple of dates to kiss her lips let alone "other" things and getting a date wasn't exactly the same as drawing straws.

Basically she had principles and that put off a lot of the boys because they were in for the fast home run and she wasn't givig up any bases that easy!

She was a year ahead of me but when I first met her it was like some benevolent spirit, Jesus maybe?, had just turned on the lights in my dark cynical heart. Ever so rarely does this happen.

First time it I saw her it was one lazy Thursday. Me and my buddy Daron and Tingsky were walking along the corridors, bored out of our minds, no work to do and we thought we could go hang out at the library. We were talking about some silly stuff or the war in Iraq, them we came across this group of people making their way into the AV room. My eyes casually roved across the crowd, back and forth, back and....

There she was. I stopped in mid stride and I grabbed one of the guys going in to ask what this club was and if I could join. He said yes, i could join right away, everything else he said after that was lost to the wind.

I had to go meet her. As luck would have it there was no one sitting next to her. I am not the smoothest of guys but I am high enough up the food chain so it wasn't long before she noticed me. A sleek introduction, flattery here and there. By the end of the meeting I was in the personal joke zone and that my friends is a lot of progress by ANY measure.

A couple of days into it there was casual, or u may say "playful" body contact. It was mostly of the welcome kind but it got a bit out of hand sometimes with the hitting. I don't know if she knew this but she packed quite a punch, but hey I always acted like they were paper fists. I loved talking to her. She was not concieted, even knowing how she looked, I bet you she knew. Yeah , it was real talk not something that sounds like some lines rehearsed from a movie, mixed with doses of feigned naivity. With her, we could talk for hours on end after lunch and before we knew it the siren for dinner would go off.

We usually met at the library and at the college club meetings. It ws ok. I could make her laugh, her eyes had this shine when she laughed and she made the most adorable gestures which was better than having a pretentious with some convesation with some girls. She liked teasing, it was playful and it was fun. Felt a bit like Darcy at the bowl. The walks down in the park after clubs were my favourite. I would listen to her talk as we strode slowly down the path, watch as the wind blew her hair in her face and she gentley stroked it away. The early evenings as she sat ona park bench against the backdrop of the setting sun, the far away look in her eyes. I saw beauty. I saw sexy, I saw love, i saw her.

But her heart belonged to another. Yes, I know, no one is that lucky, the silver streak has to run out sometime as dictated ever without ruthlessly by Murphy's Law. I, forever damned to court pretentious pixies. Page 3 girls are not sexy, they are just half naked (or naked) embodiments of lust in skimpy garments. thse type of girls come dozen a dime. The pretentious aone are born everytime a coin drops. But this girl whose appeal was on a whole ather level, the girl who would steal my own heart, the girl who would anchor me down-slipping away.

You see I am kinda like Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. I am not so open so I was no about to go spill my heart out like a can of beans and I am very good at emotional control. As chance would have it her heart belonged to a guy called Sean. He was in her year. So it appeared she was kinda looking along her own level, at par, on the same ground. I was down hear, the freshmen, and she was up here, the seniors.

As much as I prevailed as a favoured chum I did not quite meet that criteria. Besides I can be emotionally unavailbale. That could have been another of my stumbling blocks. Even if I had bagged that one (made her mine) , it would have been kinda hard to maintain the "honey -honey talk" for long.

Grace was a romantic and I could see that, and unfortunately as with all romances tragedy always strikes. Sean was not yielding to her. Yeah, the guy was going on about how important "friendship" is and such stuff and how he does not want to loose that. I really felt like hitting him across the face, don't get me wrong I liked the guy but him leaving the dame out to hang was kinda too much.

I saw her a couple of times after she tried to get him to act on her. She was smiling. But I could see something different in her. A hint of sadness in those shining light brown eyes.

She left after graduation. It was a moment in time when things were real.

The good girls always leave. I stood outside the college chapel, the sun was covered by rain clouds, the air humid and warm. Pathetic. I looked down the road to Maryward where the girls where-where she once stayed. The laughs, the smiles, the "hey"s : they faded away with the blowing wind. My eyes flinched from the dust blown up on the dirt road, blazer flapping loudly against my crisp white shirt, tie dancing in the wind. The church bells tonged like the herald of amagheddon. I looked at my shoes, I saw a dim reflection of myself. Dark and obscure, just like the inside.

"Fiddes, honey did you bring the chocolate I asked for yesterday? Lets hurry, the wind is messing up my hair" A girl come rushing beside me and grabbed my arm. I looked at her, I could think of a hundred reasons why this was not real but just keeping up appearances.I looked at her, I don't want to but I had to smile.

Pretentious.
